Government gives full backing to 2011 Trust

Wednesday 9th December 2009

The Culture Minister Margaret Hodge has pledged the Government's full support to work of the 2011 Trust saying  "The 2011 Trust [...] is very important [and] will take the leading role, supported by the Government.  We are not standing back".

The Minister's comments were made in a Westminster Hall debate yesterday as David Simpson, DUP Member for Upper Bann pressed the Government for more information on what it is doing to mark the anniversary.
