2011 Trustee asks big questions atop 4th plinth

Friday 9th October 2009

On Tuesday, Luke Walton, Arts Officer at the Bible Society and 2011 Trustee, braved the London drizzle and took his place atop Trafalgar Square’s 4th Plinth joining 2500 other “plinthers” in Anthony Gormley’s One and Other project.

With his hour in the spotlight, Luke invited questions from members of the public in the square and from thousands viewing at home, turning these contributions into a piece of performance art.

You can watch Luke’s hour here.

To read it is to feel simultaneously at home, a citizen of the world, and a traveller through eternity.
