Choral Evensong with Commemoration of
Lancelot Andrewes

Merchant Taylor’s School (1561) and Charterhouse (1611) are holding a Choral Evensong at Southwark Cathedral to commemorate Bishop Lancelot Andrewes, pupil of Merchant Taylor’s School, Founder Governer of Charterhouse and Translator of the King James Bible.

It will take place on
Monday 26th September 2011 at 5.30pm

Southwark Cathedral
with the sermon from the Lord Bishop of London.

Music from the Southwark Cathedral Choir and Merchant Taylors’ School Choir.

There is an optional reception afterwards in Merchant Taylors’ Hall from 7.00pm-8.30pm. Tickets for which are £20.
