A dramatisation of the commission and creation of the King James Version of the Bible, from its conception at the 1604 Hampton Court Conference to its completion in 1611. Six teams of scholars worked on the translation. The teams' drafts and minutes, and other contemporary sources are used to bring to life this gripping story of the most influential book ever written in English. A cast of actors and musicians perform in the beautiful setting of the Temple Church.
