The exhibition relates to George Abbot – A Guildford Man showing at Guildford Museum, an event commemorating the 400th anniversary of the publication of the King James Bible. Guildford man George Abbot (1562-1633) who became Archbishop of Canterbury in 1610, was one of its translators.
