An exhibition of books and manuscripts in Lincoln Cathedral Library.
Among other historic Bibles, there will be on display in the Library exhibition:
- The Lincoln Chapter Bible, vol. 1, c.1100, the earliest English illustrated Romanesque Bible. It was commissioned for use in the newly-built Lincoln Cathedral by Nicholas, Archdeacon of Huntingdon.
- A Wyclifite New Testament (a mid-15th century manuscript).
- A 1611 imprint of the King James Bible.
Admission is included in the Cathedral entry fee.
