Cardiff Bible Week

Sunday, 22 May 2011 - Friday, 27 May 2011
Location: Ferrier Hall, City Hall, Cathays Park, Cardiff, United Kingdom
Organisation: Cardiff Christadelphians
Topic: Bible

Details:

It was 400 years ago in 1611 that one of our world's the greatest literary works was published - the King James Version of the Bible.

Building on the foundations of men like William Tyndale, the KJV has continued to shape our English language for the last 400 years both here in the UK and across the world.

In acknowledgement of this historic anniversary Cardiff Bible Week would like to invite you to come and learn a little more about this amazing book...

Highlights...

The Bible Exhibition
However you look at it, the Bible is an extraordinary book. Whether you believe it is the Word of God or not, this book is unique. The exceptional nature of this book was recognised by men in past ages, like William Tyndale, who were willing to give up their lives so that others could read it for themselves. The Bible Exhibition will attempt to show you this book’s place in history and how it has survived; how it accurately describes past events, and future events; and what this unique book’s message is.

Evening Presentations
Our series of evening presentations at various locations around Cardiff, seek to provide you with a more in-depth understanding of the Bible, how it came to us, some of the challenges it faces and its message of hope for us today.
