An Ecumenical Study Day for all those engaged in a preaching or teaching ministry, hosted by the Diocese of Blackburn.

Speaker: Professor Keith Ward, Professional Research Fellow, Heythrop College London and former Regius Professor of Divinity, University of Oxford.

As part of our Year of the Bible Celebrations, Churches Together in Lancashire are delighted to welcome Professor Keith Ward to lead this day of reflection on our use and teaching of Scripture.

He is an internationally acclaimed author and speaker, renowned for his ability to make complex subjects accessible and engaging. While many of us are more used to thinking of him in connection with science and religion, his recent book on the use of scripture (The Word of God? – the Bible after modern scholarship [SPCK, 2009]) makes him an ideal speaker for a Year of the Bible focussed event.

Free, but places are limited, so please book early. Please bring your own lunch, hot drinks will be provided
