Resources for Churches
The Word Revealed – a festival service book with music
The Royal School of Church Music has published a festival service book to commemorate the anniversary.
The Word Revealed was compiled by Charles Taylor (Dean of Peterborough Cathedral) and Peter Moger (Precentor, York Minster),
and commissioned by the King James Bible Trust. It seeks to trace through history the place of the Bible in Christian life
and worship, as well as celebrating the effect the King James Bible has had on generations of Christians.
It includes a varied selection of hymns, songs, and anthems old and new - some specially written for this festival – and
readings and prayers.
See www.rscm.com/publications/new.php#WordRevealed for more details and a downloadable sample copy.
